Prior to his election as President in 2007, Mr. Drevna served as NPRA’s Executive Vice President and Director, Policy & Planning. Mr. Drevna has an extensive background in energy, environmental, and natural resource matters, with more than 37 years of broad energy industry experience in legislative, regulatory, public policy and marketplace issues.

In 2000, Mr. Drevna served as Director, State and Federal Government Relations for Tosco, Inc., where he was responsible for liaison with Congress, federal regulatory agencies and state governments. Mr. Drevna also served as Director, Government & Regulatory Affairs for the Oxygenated Fuels Association, where he held similar responsibilities, and as Vice President at Jefferson Waterman International. Beginning in 1982, Mr. Drevna held various positions throughout his twelve year tenure at Sunoco, including serving as Vice President for Public Affairs for Sun Coal Company, a wholly owned subsidiary of Sunoco.

Mr. Drevna has a significant background in environmental management that includes service as Director of Environmental Affairs for the National Coal Association and as supervisor of environmental quality control for the Consolidation Coal Company.

He received his BA in chemistry from Washington and Jefferson College and performed graduate work at Carnegie-Mellon University.

Gregory M. Scott is the Executive Vice President and General Counsel of NPRA, the National Petrochemical & Refiners Association. Before joining NPRA in 2008, Mr. Scott was a Partner with Kelley Drye & Warren LLP. Prior to joining Kelley Drye in 1991, he served as Vice President at National Strategies, Inc.

In 1983, Scott was a Legislative Assistant to Congressman Timothy Wirth (D – CO), specializing in energy and environmental issues. He also served as Assistant National Finance Director of Dr. Wirth’s successful campaign for the United States Senate.

Mr. Scott received his J.D. from American University’s Washington College of Law in 1988, and was awarded his B.A. in political economics cum laude from Colorado College.
